The Quest for Life Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation based in Bundanoon in the beautiful Southern Highlands and offers life-changing residential
programs and community-based workshops. Quest's programs inspire and support people living with the challenges of trauma, grief, anxiety, depression,
burnout, cancer and chronic illness.
Rob and Joan, affected by bushfire and other trauma, attended residential programs at Quest supported by your donations. Here they share their stories,
with heartfelt gratitude for your support.
The repercussions from a traumatic experience often don’t surface until weeks, months or even years after the event. It can be both surprising and confusing
to people as they struggle to understand why their brain and body continue to react, given that the traumatic event has passed. Some people never make
the connection between their current emotionally distressed state and the trauma that created it.
